Death & the Men In Black

There are two persistent dangers the Visitors of Ashbrook will be forced to contend with: dying, and being taken by the men in black.
Death isn't permanent for the Visitors in Ashbrook, but there are distinct and unavoidable consequences. Similarly, the men in black always return the people they take, and yet consequences of attracting their attention are identical to those of dying.
Death can occur for any reason that would normally kill a character. When a character dies their body remains where it is and begins to undergo the normal process of decay at a normal rate. If retrieved by paramedics or police it'll end up in the morgue. If left in the woods it'll remain in the woods. However, as soon as the body is left unattended it will vanish without a trace, and the resurrection process (the details of which will be revealed at a later date) will begin.
Being taken by the men in black occurs when a Visitor too openly acknowledges being involved with the supernatural. They might use their powers, talk openly about being from another world, or admit to being involved with the strange occurrences around town while in the presence of a townsperson, or be caught doing any of the same on security cameras. The extent of the men in black's reach isn't known, but it seems as though very little that isn't done in complete secrecy or with trusted individuals gets past them.
Players are given a great deal of leeway in what, exactly, will draw the attention of the men in black. So long as it's not an act that's impossible to cover up (like major destruction to part of the town) players are not required to have their character face being taken.

Consequences
PROCESS: Men in Black
First Death / Abduction
The short version is that late one night, your character will be kidnapped, rendered unconscious, and taken to a mysterious medical facility. They will be returned to their home the next day with no memory of the kidnapping.
Once a Visitor has completely recovered from the abduction consequences they may be able to recall some of the details of their kidnapping. In addition to the brief description above, they may be able to recall the following details:
(cw: kidnapping, medical horror, needles, drugging, restraint) several individuals worked together to kidnap them; they were forced into a van after being grabbed; they were rendered unconscious using an oxygen mask and/or an injection; the hallways and rooms of the facility they were taken to were extremely bland and sterile; they were strapped to a table or stretcher the entire time
They will not be able to recall the faces of the people who kidnapped them, nor the location of the facility they were taken to.
First Death / Abduction
For 1-3 days, a Visitor will have no memory of their life before Ashbrook. Their canon memories will be completely replaced by the apparently genuine memories of their Ashbrook counterpart.
For 1 day after this 1-3 day period is over, a Visitor's canon memories will start to replace their Ashbrook memories piece by piece. During this period they will feel a desire to hold on to their Ashbrook memories, believing their canon memories to be a delusion.
Ultimately, all of a Visitor's canon-memories will return and all of their Ashbrook counterpart's memories will be lost. They will remember having and believing in those memories, however, and may experience a sense of wistfulness and loss when recalling that period.
