Hiatus & Drops
Hiatuses can be one of two things: the character goes on autopilot; they will spend the duration of their hiatus without their canon memories, believing that they're actually their Ashbrook counterpart; or the will simply disappear without a trace.
For drops, the dropped character will suddenly forget their life in canon and instead wholly believe that they're a true resident of Ashbrook. Furthermore, they will gradually become more and more unrecognizable to their CR, losing distinctive physical features and mannerisms from canon. They will completely forget their CR as well.
Hiatuses must be at least a week long to qualify for AC exemption and can last at maximum a month; if you need to extend for any reason, please let the mods know! Characters on hiatus will not need to submit threads for AC, but should check-in with a link to their hiatus comment regardless.
